"Robert O.", Oct. 4, 2010 As you know, we installed our KVAR unit in August, and our first full, living-at-home month was September. This was an unusually hot September, and we used the air conditioning more than we expected. As a result, I expected a higher-than-normal electricity bill for the month.

The bill arrived, and a year-to-year comparison shows that in September, our total kWh ran to 1076 -- 12.5% LESS than September '09, which ran to 1227. Our bill was correspondingly lower, too (although a 7.5% increase in the delivery charge reduced our total savings).  KVAR works for us!
