Panel Units
"Off the Shelf" Single Phase Kvar Panel installed Units come in 3 sizes. Size needed is determined by your Circuit Breaker Panel size.
Model Numbers are designated by:
PU: Designates "Panel Unit"
Phase: Single Phase (1)
Amps: Circuit Breaker Panel Size
50 amp Kvar Unit
Perfect for the small home or apartment. This unit may also be indicated for customers who have 1 or 2 window air conditioning units, or have Central air conditioning, but choose not to run it often.

200 amp Kvar Unit
Designed for the "average" home. If your electric bill is over $200 every month (does not include natural gas) and if you have air conditioning, this is the unit you need. Consider this unit if you also have a pool, hot tub, and / or ceiling fans.

400 amp Kvar Unit
Designed for the very large home. If your electric bill is always over $400, this may be the unit for you. We recommend that you contact us before you purchase this unit, as you may benefit from the smaller size, or Custom-Sizing.

This 400 amp service was configured in 2-200 amp Circuit Breaker Panels. 2 standard Kvar Panel Home Units were installed. (PU1200's)
A PU1400 was not used because the loads were divided between 2 200 amp load centers.
